IVE Science Fair is February 11th, 2026!

Are you ready to show off your science skills? We want our students to have fun with science! It's all about exploring, experimenting, and finding answers to the questions that pop up in curious minds. We're giving our students the opportunity to let their creativity and imagination run wild!
Work on a project by yourself or grab a few of your lab partners and get to work. With a
world of experiments at your fingertips, the possibilities are endless! Let's see what you can come up with!
Guidelines
Before you dive into the exciting world of scientific exploration, make sure you check out the full guidelines for the IVE Science Fair. Guidelines
Registration
In order to participate, you must register your project, and you must submit your research topic and hypothesis when you register. Registration is due by February 8th! Register here!
Projects should be student driven
Parents, I know you're excited too, but please make sure the project ideas come from the students. It's their chance to shine and showcase their creativity. Of course, if there's a safety issue you can step in, but let's make sure the kids can call the project their own. For younger kids, a little guidance is okay, but let's not take away their chance to explore and discover the world of science.
Feedback and awards
Our science fair is non-competitive. Our goal is to encourage scientific exploration and discovery and promote a deep lifelong passion for science. And, of course, everyone gets a ribbon for showing off their fantastic project.
Project Display Drop Off
Projects should be dropped off at the school front foyer the morning of February 11th from 9:00-9:30. If it is not possible for you to come at this time, please contact us at sciencefair@ivepta.org.
Project Display Take Down
Pick up your display (or arrange for it to be picked up) when the fair ends at 7:30 pm. If you cannot pick up your display at the end of the fair, you can pick it up the following morning from the front foyer.

This is a free community event paid for by the IVE PTA and coordinated by volunteers. To ensure that we are able to continue offering free events and in-school programs, we ask event attendees to consider making a small donation to support our work in the school. The IVE PTA's budget is comprised almost entirely of small donations from members of our extended community.
