The IVE PTA brings Popcorn Friday to recess once or twice a month. Students are treated to a free bag of popcorn, freshly popped by PTA volunteers. Students enjoy popcorn at their second recess of the day, with the exception of kindergarteners. Volunteers deliver popcorn to kindergarten classrooms so they can enjoy a snack during playtime at the end of the day. 

While many elementary schools charge students a small fee for popcorn on Popcorn Fridays, the IVE PTA is committed to providing this treat at no cost to students and families. Please consider making a small donation to help us continue this tradition at IVE. Our budget is comprised almost entirely of small donations from our extended community!

New volunteers are always welcome at Popcorn Fridays! Please make sure your ISD volunteer application has been approved before signing up. While PTA membership isn't required to volunteer, everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the PTA here.
