Cougar Store is where IVE students get to spend their hard-earned Cougar awards—IVE's rewards points which are awarded for following the school code of conduct. The IVE PTA coordinates and funds the store in partnership with the school's MTSS efforts.
PTA volunteers take the store (a large cart on wheels) to classrooms once a month, and students can choose to spend their awards on a wide selection of toys and other fun items, including stickers, Pokemon cards, fidget spinners and even Squishmallows! For more info, please email our Cougar Store coordinator at cougarstore@ivepta.org.
How you can help:
Donate from our wish list: The IVE PTA partially funds the Cougar Store, but we also rely on generous donations from families and community members to help stock the store. If you'd like to contribute, please visit our Amazon wish list!
Volunteer: Every class has at least one Cougar Store volunteer, responsible for taking the store to the classroom at a pre-determined time every month. Up to two volunteers can staff the store at a time, and some classes have a rotation of several volunteers. All Cougar Store volunteers must attend a training session every year in the fall to ensure a consistent experience for students across the school. Please note that teachers determine Cougar Store scheduling at the start of the school year. Email cougarstore@ivepta.org to find out if your student's shopping time is a good fit for your schedule—or to find out more info about volunteering with the store. All volunteers must be approved through the Issaquah School District prior to volunteering at school.
