What to know: 

Foam parties marking the start and end of the school year have become a tradition at IVE. Twice a year we gather on the IVE field to play in the bubbles and have a family picnic. We hope you'll join us next time! Here are few things you may want to know about attending; if you have any more questions, please email volunteer@ivepta.org. 

Foam parties are also family picnics, so pack a dinner or buy food from a food truck on-site. Check the ivepta.org homepage close to the date of each party to find out what options will be available for purchase. 

The foam is made from Dawn dish soap, which is generally gentle on skin. Even so, we recommend goggles for sensitive eyes!

In addition to our foam machine, we usually have a bubble-making station and some kind of group art activity as well. The school playground is also open for play. 

The school is locked during the party, so indoor bathrooms are not available. Make sure you "go" before you go! For emergencies, a porta-potty is located in the parking lot near Dodd Field. 

This is a free community event paid for by the IVE PTA and coordinated by volunteers. To ensure that we are able to continue offering free events and in-school programs, we ask event attendees to consider making a small donation to support our work in the school. The IVE PTA's budget is comprised almost entirely of small donations from members of our extended community.
