Staff Appreciation - Thanks

A huge thank you to all those parents who helped to make Staff Appreciation Week such a success. Whether you baked, cooked, decorated, shopped, created gift-baskets, cleaned-up, wrote notes or provided treats, you contributed to a week full of wonderful food and surprises for the staff at IVE. Thank you! A special thank you to those people who served on the staff appreciation committee this year; a team effort made this event fun and successful: Kim Murphy, Kathy Bohac, Ana Inman-Jimenez, Teri Schaengold, Karista Bennett, Karla Shannon-Garvey, Therese Mille, Jana White, Natalie Hancock and Maria Nelson. Thank you to the following local businesses who supported Staff Appreciation: Chipotle’s (they sponsored lunch for our entire staff) The Fern Life Center that sent a massage therapist over to do hand massages and donated two one hundred dollar gift certificates to our raffle.

2007 IVE Variety Show

This year’s variety show was a grand slam! The actors/players did such a great job and showed so much composure. We are so proud of our students who took the time to support their school by participating. Also thank you to all the parents who arranged to help their student polish their act and pick them up after practice this month. A special thank you to Liz Rudolph our co-chair, for script writing, program creation and overall support in all areas, Rena Lang and Nancy Slanina for their sound system expertise and commitment, Leah Gibson for the amazing lighting, and Kristen Allen-Bentsen, Teri Schaengold for their coaching and encouragement. Also thank you to all the parents who helped “manage” our audience and actors/players. And last but certainly not least, our spectacular staff for their support and involvement. Your participation is yet another demonstration of your commitment to our children and we appreciate it so much.
