Auction Thanks!!!

Thank you for helping to make the IVE PTA Wine & Cheese Social and Auction a huge success!  Whether you were an auction volunteer, or attended as an IVE parent, friend, neighbor, or IVE staff member you all contributed to the success of the evening.  One of our goals for the auction was to bring the parent community together to build stronger bonds between families.  Our second goal was to raise money for a technology fund, and for the PTA in general.  We more than met both of these goals.  We hope you went home with some fun auction items along with some new friends.  Together, we can continue to build on the strengths at IVE to ensure that all of our children have a wonderful, safe environment to learn and grow.
 
We would like to give special thanks to Brooks and Jen Jorgensen for facilitating donations from Don Sebastiani & Sons Winery, QFC (cheese, crackers, bread), Dave Stanger (Auctioneer) and for all of the beautiful decorations.  
 
A huge thank you also goes out to Pat and Jennifer Boone for the fruit donation from Rosella's Fruit and Produce Co., Inc.
 
And lastly, thank you to Jacqueline Kelly for taking on the huge role of procuring the majority of the items in our silent auction.

Traveling Art Show is Coming

The Junior League Traveling Art Show is coming the week of March 24-29th! During the week classes will have an opportunity to view and discuss works of art on display at our school from the Junior League of Seattle's extensive art collection. The program is supported by Junior League and The Bellevue Art Museum. Our very own IVE PTA Art Docents will share the art with kids!

Have you checked out the Parent Education section of the Issaquah PTSA Council's website lately? Terrific FREE seminars on a wide-range of topics are being offered for parents of elementary, middle and high school students. We are pleased to be hosting a seminar on Monday, March 24th at 7 PM in the IVE multipurpose room. "Dispelling the Myth of the Average Student" will be presented by Jaymi Garvett, MPS, CPC, PCACG.
