We are officially a month away from summer vacation as I write this. I’m sure that you, like me, have a stack of books for beach reading, a pile of magazines from as far back as February to read through and are looking forward to some sunny, warm weather, fewer schedules and no homework to fight about.

On behalf of the PTA board I would like to personally thank each of one of you for your dedication to your children and to all of the children at IVE. I am proud of the work the PTA has done this year toward building community, working on better communication and increasing our financial base. Next year we hope to improve upon these goals and build upon the positive energy that this year’s activities, programs and events have generated. My hope is that each of you will choose to be involved at some level and that you will remain committed to making IVE a positive place for our children to be.
